- 1/2 ounce Beeswax
- 1-ounce Lanolin Hydrous
- 2 ounces Almond oil
- 1-ounce Avocado oil

- 3 ounces Pure Spring Water
- 2 drops Clary Sage
- 2 drops Lemon
Using either the bain-marie method or a double boiler, melt the beeswax, lanolin, and carrier oils and stir well. Then add essential oils and take the pot off the heat and slowly add the water. Mix in a blender or whisk until the mixture is cold. Use to cleanse your face and rinse well.
Dry Skin Cleansing Solution
- 1/4 cup Aloe Vera gel
- 1 teaspoon carrier oil (From above list)
- 5 drops Rosemary
- 1 teaspoon Glycerin
Shake formula well before every use. Apply with fingers or cotton pads -- it does not lather. Rinse well.
Basic Facial Steam
- 1 quart boiling water
- 1 large handful of herbs (from above list)
- 5 drops essential oil of choice (from above list)
Steep the herbs for 5 - 10 minutes, covered. Remove lid and add essential oils, leaving the herbs in the water. Use a towel to make a tent over the pot or bowl and steam your face for up to 10 minutes. Strain the herbs and save the tea to use as a final rinse water at the end of facial.

Boil water, remove from heat, add herb, cover, and steep for 45 minutes. Strain and pour into a glass jar. Add the glycerin and Lavender oil. Close jar and shake vigorously to blend. Using a cotton pad or ball, apply approximately 1 teaspoon to face. Avoid eye area. Follow with a moisturizer.
Vitamin-Rich Moisturizer
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 2 tablespoons Lanolin
- 5 ounces Almond oil
- 2 tablespoons Beeswax
- 250 iu Vitamin A capsule
- 250 iu Vitamin E capsule
- 3 drops Geranium oil
- 1 drop Roman Chamomile
Melt lanolin and beeswax gently in a double boiler. Gradually beat in the carrier oils. Remove from heat and beat in water. Break open vitamin capsules and squeeze contents into cream, beating well. Add essential oils. Cool, stirring frequently. Transfer to a sterile jar and screw on lid. Apply in generous amounts and massage deeply into the skin.
Condition Normal to Dry Skin
- 2 drops Rosewood
- 4 drops Geranium
- 4 drops Sandalwood
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Apply to face nightly.
Dry Skin Soothing Essential Oil Serum
- 10 drops Sandalwood
- 10 drops Rosewood
- 2 tablespoons Jojoba Oil
- 10 drops Lavender

Regenerative Floral Beauty Balm
- 2 tablespoons Apricot Kernel oil
- 2 tablespoons Rosehip Seed oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Beeswax
- 1 tablespoon Rose Infusion
- 1/2 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
- 10 drops Geranium oil
- 10 drops Neroli oil
- 8 drops Ylang Ylang
Heat the carrier oils and beeswax in a double boiler until wax melts. In another pan, heat the rose infusion. Remove both pans from the heat and cool until the wax mixture just begins to thicken. Very slowly drizzle the infusion into the wax mixture, vigorously whisking for 3 or 4 minutes, or until a creamy emulsion forms. Add the vitamin E and essential oils and stir rapidly for another 4 minutes. Spoon into a 2 ounce, dark colored glass jar. Allow to cool completely then close lid tightly. Use once a week or whenever your skin feels in need of extra TLC. Store in refrigerator. Discard after 2 months.
FYI: Balm is thicker and more concentrated so you may need to warm it up in the palm of your hand before applying.
Rose Infused Water Recipe
- 1/2 cup Boiling Water
- 1 tablespoon Dried Roses
In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the rose petals and let steep for a half hour then strain.
