What is the difference between organic Lemon oil and Lemongrass oil?
Organic Lemon oil is made from the peels of lemons, while Lemongrass oil is made from a species of grass. Each oil has a different scent and chemical composition. As the name suggests, Lemongrass oil has a citrusy aroma that's similar to Lemon, but it's earthier and more herbal. Lemongrass oil also has insect-repelling properties, similar to Citronella. Organic Lemon oil, meanwhile, has a sweet, tangy citrus scent and is rich in beneficial compounds. -
What are the benefits of organic Lemon essential oil for skin?
When diluted with a carrier oil, organic Lemon essential oil may help promote a brighter, more consistent skin tone. Its fresh scent can also contribute to a positive mood. -
Is organic Lemon oil safe for pets?
Organic Lemon oil is considered safe for topical use on dogs when properly diluted in a carrier oil (such as Fractionated Coconut Oil). However, always use caution when applying essential oils to your dog and make sure your dog does not ingest the oils. We recommend consulting your veterinarian or a trained animal aromatherapist prior to using Lemon oil on your furry friend.
It is not safe for cats. If diffusing in your home, keep the diffuser away from your pet's bed, food and water bowls, litter box, crate, or other commonly used areas.
